Re-learning how to water paint

Here's from my sketchpad, some of my early trials on water painting. Was pretty good at it in architecture school but somehow lost it from all the computer work I did.

The Na'Vi are sexy.

Is it just me, or are the Na'Vi from the movie avatar really sexy. Maybe not all of the Na'vi, but Neytiri in particular. Seeing her moves and how slender she is seemed very sexy for me. Add that to the fact that she was practically naked throughout the movie. Other people might be thinking I'm weird now or I'm such a geek so I'll end it with that.

Hello,

this is my very first blog here. What can you expect? hmmm... I'm an architect, musician, English teacher, father, husband, son, and friend. So I'm sure you'll find a lot of ideas on those here.

I started this blog because I've always wanted to post some kind of artwork. My music is already on myspace and my professional projects are posted elsewhere. Will update those later on.

It's been a while since I really sketched, drew, or even painted. Been seeing a lot of artwork online lately so I thought I'd give it another go. I'm starting out by sketching people I see on facebook and other sites. I'll get a scanner soon and start posting my sketches. Like I mentioned, it's been a while so let this be an online posting of my renewed improvement.
